One such method requires combing and collecting all the falling flakes on a black paper sheet. Make a mental note of the worst case scenario and the best position ever noted by you. Compare the current observation and rate it at a ten point scale. Another method utilizes, pressing a purpose made adhesive strip against the parted hair .so that he strip touches the scalp too and not only the hair. Adhesion of the flakes is the compared against the standard strip showing the concentration of flakes in graded order. The test strip is read at the most matching position of the standard strip. Regular testing is beneficial because, initially it helps you benchmarking, and in the later stages helps progress chasing.
